Driven to insanity by the sound of her own voice,
the young girl thought twice about her acts,
her mind was clear, no screaming no noise,
she ignore the help she was given,
she just closed her eyes and walked away,
there wasnt any need for all these tears each day.
her sickness wore her down,
she was weak on her own,
she found herself running from the people she called home.
she kept to herself, never opened up,
she put on her satisfied face and acted all tough,
something was wrong, nothing was right,
alone she was dark with no hint of light,
she scratched and pulled at the truths to unfold,
her worries she kept deep,
driven to insanity by the sound of her heart breaking,
she pleads to get away,
this wasnt worth questioning,
so again she went on everyday
pretending lifes great,
and everything was a-ok.
Happy moments, cheerful days,
never a dull moment, thats how it stays,
always smiling, not a tear,
never confusing, thoughts always clear,
bright eyes, a flawless heart,
no promises broken, no life torn apart,
memories made, that are so worth saving,
no mistakes, nothing worth regretting,
being with friends and lovers that care,
the ones that will be there year after year,
no screaming or yelling, no lying or cheating,
no losing, giving up only defeats,
this is the life i wish i had,
but i dont,
and thats what makes this story so sad.
